the ravished one

by Edith Riegler

hungry and lonesome

Ginsberg already sermonised you

yearning for the elusive something

the magnetising yet mystifying

forces to wander a disturbed drifter

seeking seeking seeking

eyes never shut guts wide open pants down

let’s fuck now

enthralled by excess

you

ultimately

remain

unsatiated
