Celina Tran
Founder and Editor-in-Chief
Celina (She/her) is a Vietnamese-Norwegian multimedia journalist, editor and writer based in the Dublin. Alongside running Erato and being a freelance journalist, she can often be found reading, collecting vinyls, or starting another piece of writing that will likely end up in her box of unfinished manuscripts. After working for different media houses in the UK and Norway, she founded Erato Magazine to promote new and established writers and artists. Erato seeks to make the art and culture scene more accessible.
James Taylor
Executive Poetry Editor
James Taylor (he/they) is a writer, editor and researcher from Scotland. As well as working with the lovely folk at Erato, he edits for Jourls Press and is a writer and researcher for The Journal of Intersectional Social Justice. He can usually be found walking in the countryside, listening to Jessica Pratt and reading multiple books at once, none of which he will find the time to finish.

Emily Smyth is the prose editor at Erato Magazine. Along with the other heads of editorial, she is a key person when it comes to reading, shortlisting, editing, and creating Erato's literary issues.
Tiffani Ngo Le
Marketing and Editorial Assistant
Tiffani (She/her) is Creative Marketing student based in Oslo, Norway. Along with helping ensure that everything runs smoothly, she's responsible for Erato's social media, aesthetic, and occasionally its photography. Other than marketing and studying, you'll find her creating Pinterest boards (for absolutely everything) or dog-sitting.

Willow is a writer from Singapore. She can be found reading thick history textbooks, aimlessly writing poems, and solving frustrating math problems in a futile attempt to conquer boredom. Just make sure that her coffee bowl stays full.

Yvonne Kusiima

Yvonne Kusiima is a Ugandan writer with a degree in Social Sciences from Kyambogo
University. Her work has been published in African Writer Magazine, Kalahari Review, Brittle
Paper, Isele Magazine, Erato Magazine and elsewhere.
She is interested in the complexity of humans and the power of words in the creation of better
ways of life in societies. Her work has been shortlisted for the 2023 Isele short story prize and
the 2023 Caine Prize for African writing.
Terry Trowbridge

Terry Trowbridge is a Canadian living on Lake Ontario, a plum farmer, a sociolegal researcher, a book reviewer, and a Pushcart nominee. His poetry and essays have appeared in something like 100 different journals, zines, and chapbooks. His Erdős number is 5.

Hannah Kindred (she/her) is a Welsh writer based in London. She writes poetry, art and music reviews, and is currently working on a novel. She can be found writing her stories in a local cafe, in exploring art galleries, or finding some new wild space in her city.

Gokul KP is a Queer writer and aspiring journalist from Kerala, India. He holds an engineering degree and works as a Business Manager in Bangalore, India. His work, which spans fiction and non-fiction, has appeared on multiple websites and online publications, and has covered topics related to mental health, politics, mainstream media, pop culture, and gender & sexuality. He also tries to use the platforms available to him, including his Instagram account (@kpgokul), to spread awareness about climate change, LGBTQIA+ rights, feminism, etc. He is an ardent 'horror' fan and considers Stephen King a source of inspiration.

Nabgha Shahid is currently an English Literature major at Kinnaird College for Women University (KCWU). She is an avid reader and her specific interests include reading Gothic Literature and curating narratives leave indelible imprints on one's soul in their own unique way. Despite her arduous and hectic university life, she aspires to work as an editorial/staff/op-ed writer one day and is grateful for the opportunity to work at Erato Magazine where inclusivity and diversity thrives!
Xiao Faria da Cunha

Xiao Faria da Cunha is a practicing visual artist and an independent journalist covering what's happening in the Midwest belt. Her visual art practice includes mixed-media illustration on paper, printmaking, and mixed-media collage. Xiao has written for Urban Matter, BRIDGE Chicago, BELT Magazine, and The Pitch KC, and KCUR. She also runs an independent art critic column on Medium while contributing to a few publications there. She believes all her practices, art and writing alike, are essentially journalism practices to speak on behalf of those who haven't been heard and shed light on what hasn't been seen, whether it's emotional, cultural, or societal.
Amanda Nechesa

Amanda Nechesa is a writer and poet from Nairobi, Kenya. She enjoys writing very much and she hopes she gets to do it for the rest of her life. Her writing achievements include - being published in magazines such as The Kalahari Review, Salamander Ink Magazine, WSA-K Magazine, and in the Qwani anthology, a collection of literature by young Kenyan writers.

Amanda O'Dell is a writer based out of the wild woods of West Virginia. She's always loved the written word and is especially attached to her blog, RedPandaPaleo. It spreads the importance of kindness and having a positive outlook, reaches out to others with chronic illnesses and has evolved into a sharing of poetry. She's currently turning her blog into her first book. She spends most of her time advocating for whimsy, reading, working for a nonprofit and being a traveling homebody with her husband.

A. L. Sarino is an emerging writer hailing from the Philippines. Aside from reading as a daily ritual, they take an interest in discussing prevailing social structures and injustices through literary film analysis. Thomas Maldonado is a Mexican-American creative nonfiction writer and poet who teaches English for Academic Purposes, Intensive English and English Composition at his local community college and university in South Central Minnesota. He uniquely blends creative writing in his TESL courses while mentoring his multilingual students as they journal their writing experiences via poetry and creative nonfiction. When he’s not taking long walks through Kampala, he’s making snow angels in Mankato.

Devanshi is an undergrad history student at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi with the memory of a goldfish ( the irony is not lost on her). She is the Editor-in-Chief of her college's magazine and her poetry has been published in many university magazines. Her words have also appeared in the Monograph Magazine and one of her essays is all set to be published in a food anthology by Nivaala and the Alipore Post. Devanshi is particularly interested in weaving tales on personal experiences, art, culture, and the confluence of fashion and history. She hopes to own a bookcase that will lead into a secret chamber one day.

P.S. Luitel is a writer from Nepal. She's loved stories and storytelling as a toddler, and dreamt of being a writer since she was 10 years old. She's currently a law student at Kathmandu School of Law. Also, she works at Debate Network Nepal as the equity director (one of the leading bodies of Debate in Nepal.) Her work has been published in an anthology "In 100 years" which is the first climate fiction of Nepal. Besides this, she's a filmmaker who's currently working on a short film for Nepal Film Festival. She's also working on her own fantasy series, and absolutely adores the craft of writing. You can find her socials filled with poetries based on how she experiences the ups and downs of her life. While, she does like writing from personal experience, she's always been keen about observing people, and writing their stories from a neutral standpoint like watching the life unfold in front of your eyes.

Olanrewaju Oluwafemi Damzy is Yoruba. He is studying Mass Communication at the University of Benin, Nigeria. Damzy has always been an avid reader and lover of literature, so it only became natural for him to write when he began to feel burdened by the many stories around him. Damzy is concerned about writing the experiences of Queer people who live in Nigeria and how they navigate their sexuality. He strives to write the stories that calls to him. He hopes to one day attend a creative writing workshop taught by chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. When he's not writing, he's either reading, talking about feminism or doing one of the numerous things he likes.
