Trans and Culture

By Rose Knapp

How much of being queer is rejecting the

Mainstream cis, heteronormative narratives?

There were zero kids I knew in high school

That were openly queer or trans

Even though we had sex, we weren’t out about it

I was closeted too, maybe much of America is closeted
